I am a Greek-Australian AACTA (Australian Academy of Cinema & Television Arts) award winning filmmaker, actor & writer of second generation Greek-Australian ethnicity based in Melbourne. I created, wrote and lead acted in GORGO — WINNER of the 2025 AACTA AWARD BEST AUSTRALIAN SHORT FILM. It had its Northern American premieres at SBIFF24 (Santa Barbara International Film Festival), and was the WINNER of Best Original Music at the Academy/BAFTA Qualifying 2024 Flickerfest Film Festival (Australia). Other recent work in development includes my original supernatural cringe comedy online series CURSE OF THE VIRGIN which received 2024 Screen Australia online development funding, directed by Grace Tan (SBS/Cannes’ Appetite) and executive produced by Bec Bignell (STAN’s Homespun) and Barry Gamba (SBS’ Nightbloomers). I was also selected for the 2024 CINEFEST OZ/WIFT AUS WRITER’S RETREAT in Western Australia to work on its series pilot script. At present, I am in advanced development writing a feature film as 1 of 5 writers with AACTA nominated production company Co Curious (Here Out West), called the IN THE ROOM commission by Powerhouse Museum Parramatta. My original concept for a body-horror comedy TV series, FURIES, was selected for the NETFLIX’S Creative Equity Fund/Co Curious with script editor Kirsty Fisher (Erotic Stories/The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart). I completed a Scripted Ink Writer’s Internship with STUDIOCANAL AUS/NZ, selected for the 2019 Screen Australia Developing the Developer initiative, where I had a Development Placement with acclaimed LINGO PICTURES. I co-wrote Episode 4 ‘For The Likes’ for AACTA nominated HALAL GURLS (ABCiview). I was the Producers’ Attachment (Development) for Co Curious’ AACTA nominated feature film HERE OUT WEST. 

I have career experience in roles during story development and in script departments: as a Creative Developer for Damien Strouthos’ (STAN’s The Twelve) debut feature film PANOS, PANNOS & GEORGE, directed by Peter Andrikidis. I’ve worked as the Script Coordinator for SBS’/ARCADIA show WHILE THE MEN ARE AWAY alongside Showrunner Kim Wilson and Script Coordinator on S1 of to THE LETDOWN (NETFLIX/ABC), alongside Script Producer Greg Waters and writers Sarah Scheller & Alison Bell.  I’ve been a notetaker for writers rooms for See-Saw Films, Dreamchaser Entertainment, Lingo Pictures, Magpie Pictures, Made Up Stories, Co Curious, Moving On Productions, Afro Sistahs Collective and Arts & Cultural Exchange. I went to AFTRS (Australian Film, Television & Radio School) and did a 2021 Masters of Screen (Screenwriting) and most recently have begun working with Joan Scheckel, the internationally renowned creator of The Technique(TM).

I love to tell heart-clenching stories about unorthodox women — women who are outsiders, women who feel lost, women who may be forgotten but won’t allow themselves to be, women who are delicious antiheroines, graceless and disruptive, wrestling with their inner and outer worlds. I tell stories like this so we can see ourselves and feel less alone…
